Lux’s Side
“Elina-san, please have a seat on this sofa.”
“Okay!”
Thinking I couldn’t very well leave Elina-san standing around forever after she’d gotten up from the bed, I gestured to the sofa. She nodded energetically and sat down right away.
After watching her, I took out a teapot and two teacups and spoke.
“I’ll make tea for the two of us now.”
“Huh!? You’re making tea for me, Lux!?”
“Yes. But since I’ve heard you usually have high quality food and drinks, if the tea I make doesn’t suit your taste, please don’t hesitate to tell me…”
“No, I’ll drink it, I’ll drink it! I want to drink the tea you make, Lux!!”
“…Alright.”
I’ve watched Siana make tea closer than anyone else on a regular basis.
Even so, the number of times I’ve actually made tea myself in my life is small, so there’s no doubt I’m not very good at it.
But with Elina-san being this eager to drink the tea I make, I really don’t want to let her down.
Thinking that, I took out the tea leaves and carefully began making the tea.

“Lux looks so cool while making tea… Ah, he’s properly holding the cup with his hand… So cute…!! I like the gentle expression he usually shows me, but that serious, doing-his-best kind of expression is also…”
“Elina-san…? Is something wrong?”
I could hear Elina-san muttering something in a voice so quiet I could barely make it out, so I stopped my hands for a moment and asked. She hurriedly shook her head.
“N-no! It’s not that Lux looks cool or anything… I just don’t usually get to see you making tea, so it felt kind of fresh!”
“I see… I don’t make it very often, so if it looks clumsy, I’m sorry.”
“It doesn’t look clumsy at all! If anything, I think it looks really cool!”
“…! Th-thank you…”
Being told directly that I look cool makes me a little embarrassed, but since she was clearly praising me, I thanked her and went back to making the tea.
Once I somehow managed to finish preparing two cups, I held one out toward Elina-san.
“Here you go.”
“Thanks!”
Feeling a warm sensation in my chest at her bright voice, I sat down on the sofa across from her.
“Can I try the tea you made, Lux?”
“Of course.”
After I nodded, Elina-san took a sip of the tea.
I hadn’t made any obvious mistakes, so it shouldn’t taste bad… or so I was thinking.
Elina-san then set the teacup down on the table and smiled brightly.
“It’s delicious, Lux!”
“Really!?”
“Yeah! You really brought out the flavor of the tea, and I can tell how much you want the person drinking it to enjoy it!”
“I see… I’m glad.”
As I let out a genuine sigh of relief, Elina-san looked at me and smiled gently before speaking.
“By the way, Lux… did you know that tomorrow, the Second Princess Elizalina-sama, is holding an event?”
An event…
Now that she mentions it, I feel like Florence-san said something about Elizalina-sama reaching out to the dukes.
“I don’t know the details, but I’ve heard a little about it.”
“I see! And then?”
Elina-san placed a single sheet of paper on the table and slid it toward me.
“This is the invitation needed for that event, but… if you’d like, would you come to tomorrow’s event too, Lux?”
“…Huh?”
…M-me, attending an event hosted by Elizalina-sama herself!?
At the sudden proposal, my body and thoughts froze before I even realized it.
