Chapter 400: Felisiana’s Wish
Siana’s Side
Night.
In her room at the Rodwell count’s estate, Siana was still thinking about what had been on her mind these past few days.
“Is it still difficult to come to an answer?”
Seeing Siana deep in thought, Violet spoke to her.
The “answer,” of course, referred to what Elizalina had said, accepting whatever answer Lux might give.
“…I could tell that Florence, Elizalina-anesama, and Rezamiliana-anesama all truly love Lux-kun.”
Even if there were differences in beliefs or opposing positions, considering everything up until now, she could never call that love something shallow.

Siana murmured that and spoke with a slight tremble in her voice.
“For about ten years, I’ve always loved Lux-kun, you know? In those ten years, I’ve imagined being together with him countless times, but I’ve never once imagined being rejected… there’s no way someone like me could just give up on him after being rejected even once.”
But at the same time, what Elizalina said,
Even if she were rejected, if that was the happiness Lux chose, then as someone who loves him, she should respect it and gracefully give up,
She could understand that way of thinking as well.
However, for Siana, who had always believed that being together with Lux was absolutely their shared happiness, and still believed so now, it was incredibly painful.
Seeing Siana burdened with such anguish, Violet spoke.
“…Ojou-sama, do you remember what I told you before? Even if Rodwell-sama were to give an unexpected answer that none of you had imagined, if you truly care for him, then you should respect and accept even that.”
“Yes… and you added that Lux-kun is kind.”
Responding to Siana, who recalled Violet’s earlier words, Violet nodded.
“Yes. And connected to that… what is your greatest wish, Ojou-sama?”
“My… greatest wish?”
“That’s right. Is it to continue fighting those you are currently cooperating with, even if only temporarily, for Rodwell-sama’s sake? And to push others away if they try to get close to him?”

Until now, she had done those things because they were necessary.
Then, what exactly had they been necessary for?
In the past, Elizalina had pointed out that she had been focusing on everything except Lux, the one she should have been watching most closely.
If that was the case, why had she ended up like that?
“Please tell me your greatest wish… and if it is the kind Rodwell-sama, then surely he will grant that wish of yours.”

Seeing her, Lux must have judged that she wasn’t lying,
